- Peggy Guggenheim Collection is situated in the former American collector's home, a wonderful palace overlooking the Grand Canal. The collection there is considered to be one of the most important in Europe for modern art, Cubism, Surrealism, Futurism and Abstract art. The collection features masterpieces by Picasso, Braque, Chagall, Magritte, Kandinsky, Pollock and many others.
- Ca' Pesaro international Gallery of Modern Art contains many works acquired from the Biennale exhibition throughout the 20th century. The collection is located in a famous 17th-century palace on the Grand Canal (Pesaro Palace) and contains 19th- and 20th-century paintings and sculptures, including Klimt, Chagall, Kandinsky, Klee, Moore.
